This multi-family housing complex has 60 residential units ranging from three bedrooms to studios and worker co-ops. Using a stepping motif in the design allows the building to transition from the river to the forms of the built environment. The units on the riverside have access to their own outside terrace. The terrace gives the residents a semi-private outdoor space with a view of the water. The low walls on the terrace give some privacy and separation while also allowing for community interaction between units.
